Motel 6 West Columbia SC Airport

There is a reason why this is the best Motel 6 in the USA. Immaculate, comfortable beds, and easy access to I26 makes this a great place for a stop over while traveling. Plenty of fast food restaurants in the immediate vicinity too ( and gas stations). The parking lot lights are very bright and there are security cameras everywhere making this facility very secure which is important to me as a solo traveler. Fresh coffee is available all the time. This is a family run business, they are extremely friendly, helpful and take obvious pride in their motel.Pet friendly too! There is a very special staff member associated with this property. His name is Chico. He greets each guest while on duty...Chico was found in an abandoned building in the vicinity. The owner of the motel rescued him, he is now part of the family business coming to "work" every day to greet guests. A truly remarkable and compassionate business and a great value. Highly recommend staying here.

It was very quiet and convenient. Right off the highway with easy access to locations. The staff was friendly.

The room was very nice and clean. But the trash outside in the hall was gross!!! The housekeeper was very nice. But I don't understand why it would have to pay another deposit because I wanted to stay a couple more days. But this is my spot to come to!!! We really enjoyed our stay!!!!

The staff is super friendly. They are very dog friendly people and can’t express enough that if you’re passing through with a dog this is a great spot. Easy access to let them out and the value of the stay is worth it.

It was very clean, the pictures are actually accurate to the room that I had. I liked that it was a newer facility. The price was good for what I got.
